Who is Class_Sick??
A cursed gift. Went from worthless to pursuing a purpose
"A masterpiece of modern hip-hop, showcasing his talents in both lyricism and storytelling..." ~FreshHipHopRnB.Com
Chances are if you've ever asked Class_Sick where he's from, you most likely heard his response be along the lines of "OuttaDisWorld, Yeman". If you wonder why that is, it's simple, to him he believes we are all just a part of the universe having a human experience and Yeman is just fun to say. In reality he is an Independant Hip Hop artist hailing from Orlando, Florida. Indulging in the arts for over 2 decades he continues to find ways to infuse elements of Jazz, soul, Boom Bap, and his own uniqueness into his repertoire. Racking up an impressive resume working with renowned producers such as Wyshmaster, Kato The Producer, Scotie Keeys, MasterKraftsmen and many more. That's not all though, as he has shown he can hold his own, having appeared on songs beside the likes of Rick Ross, Jadakiss, Kevin Gates, and plenty others. Class_Sick continues carving his own lane, building his catalogue and expanding his brand. "2024 is the year they will be forced to add us to those conversations." he boldly proclaims.
Even before birth, Class_Sick was exposed to music in the womb. As a baby just crawling around banging on anything that made sound until somebody got annoyed and made him stop or tried to anyways. With an eclectic taste ranging from Salsa to Rock'n'roll and everything in between, Class_Sick would always find his way to hear music somehow. "If it made noise, I was trying to make a melody with it." Unaware of what love was, he was already in love with music. It was Hip Hop that ultimately stole his heart though, from the moment he heard Sugar Hill Gang, and we all know exactly what song he's talking about too. Unfortunately sometimes, love isn't enough to keep your focus.
Growing up in challenging environments it was inevitable Class_Sick would succumb to the pressure. A soul tortured in turmoil, on a path into perdition, he would eventually be forced to leave for almost 8 years. Never one with a victim mentality, Class_Sick would utilize his pain, sharpen his skillset and get back to his first love. Music has become a reflection of his life experiences. Blending introspection, social commentary and raw energy to tackle topics from societal issues, personal struggles and the pursuit of dreams. Weaving gritty narratives and painting vivid pictures of what goes on in his head to give us a keen sense of storytelling that shows us his reality.
After a triumphant return in 2023 Class_Sick is dedicating this year to the grind. Starting off 2024 with his first album of the year "Blk Sheep Chronicles" (released 3/19/24) he continues stacking up the catalogue. "This year I'm focused on the bodies of work rather than just single song releases." Letting it be known he has a few things in the works for the fans, one of which will be another album coming with a late 2nd quarter release.
